Ammolite is know as Iniskim ( Buffalo Calling Stones ) in the Blood Tribe. It is the 2nd rarest gem on earth and originates from prehistoric marine fossils that date back 70 million years. The heat and pressure from the earth caused the shells to turn very beautiful iridescent colors.
The Gem in these colors are found only in the Bearpaw Formation in the Blood Tribe Traditional territory in Alberta, Canada.
The gem is believed to awaken positive energy wearers call them gems of enlightenment.
